On January 15, 2022, at about 2:35 PM, this station received an information regarding the theft of cow incident at Brgy. San Juan, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija wherein the two (2) male suspects, a 20 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Zone 8, Brgy Sibut, San Jose City, NE and a 21years old, single, jobless and a resident of Bliss, Brgy. Malasin, SJC, NE fled onboard a green Yamaha MIO motorcycle with plate #: CA 25012 towards the direction going to Municipality of LLanera, Nueva Ecija. Immediately, Intel operatives of this station were dispatched and validated the information and pursued the fleeing suspects at Brgy. Caridad, Norte, this municipality. Personnel of this station led by PLT ALEX S CASPILLAN, DCOPO, while conducting checkpoint at brgy San Francisco this municipality immediately transferred the checkpoint operation at Brgy. Caridad Sur, Llanera, Nueva Ecija and managed to block the suspects about 2:30PM this date. The suspects were instantly ordered to lie down on the ground when the responding police officers saw firearm on the waist of one of the suspects. Upon verification, the suspects failed to present any valid documents of the said firearm and pertinent papers of motorcycle. Immediately, the suspects were arrested and confiscated one home-made Smith & Wesson cal.38 revolver without serial number with three (3) live ammunitions. Investigation revealed that suspects stole a cow at Brgy. San Juan, San Jose City owned by Mr. Isagani Baltazar and they were involved in series of theft incidents within the nearby town and cities.
The arrested suspects were apprised of their constitutional rights and brought to this station with the confiscated evidence for proper disposition. Meanwhile, one (1) of the suspects was turned-over to San Jose City PS for filing of separate complaint of THEFT against him.
