As of June 11, 2020, the Philippine National Police has recorded over 4,200 cases of violence against women (VAW) and children.

1,945 of this are VAW cases since the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine.

This year’s 18-day campaign to end VAW focuses on primary prevention to reduce incidents of VAW across the country, which can be achieved by empowering individuals to know and claim their rights, and to educate them where to seek help in cases of violence.

No to violence against women. Know your rights.
